Fan/Motor Assembly

The unit features a Sealed, Maintenance Free In-Line Direct Drive 115V 3/4 HP 2,400 CFM Explosion Resistant Fan/Motor Assembly. The Motor Assembly is UL Listed for use in hazardous environments. The assembly features a backward-curved non-overloading aluminum (non-sparking) fan wheel constructed with hollow airfoil blades and an aluminum inlet cone. Fan wheels are statically and dynamically balanced for higher airflow performance at less horsepower with minimum air noise.

Controls

The unit features a Hazardous Location Enclosure Switch with UL Listed ratings for NEMA 7 & 9 enclosures. Also includes two UL Listed Hazardous Location Seal Offs, one on each side of the switch box, and a 30-foot UL Listed heavy duty SOOW power cord with molded NEMA 5-15 plug.

Air Filtration

The standard filter set included with each unit comprises a Multi-Stage Filtration System which contains:

The 3-Ply Link Form Panel Filters have been tested at 99.78% efficient on the capture of paint overspray. The standard filter set also includes Pre-Filter Filter Saver Skins.

The rated airflow of 2,400 CFM is achieved using the standard filter set. The intake and exhaust housings have adjustable filter racks, so the combination of filters can be customized for various types and levels of filtration.

Fire Suppression

The unit is equipped with an automatic fire suppression system. The system includes a fusible link activator, a mechanical control head, and a suppression agent cylinder, along with a remote pull station for manual release. The system is designed to provide coverage for the fan, filters, ducting, and plenums.

Curtain Enclosure

The unit features a dedicated curtain enclosure approximately 10'W x 8'L x 8'H. The enclosure is attached to and fully supported by the filtration system. The curtains are constructed of 20 MIL Clear Flame Resistant PVC which meets NFPA 701.
